USC Girls Track and Field Wins South Fayette Invite; Jones Breaks School Record in 100 Meter Dash

The Upper St. Clair Track and Field team competed at the South Fayette Invite this weekend and came away with great results. The girls team finished in 1st place, while the boys team finished in 5th.
Top Panther performances were:
- Sadie Tomczyk - 1st place in the 100 meter dash and the 200 meter dash
- Tayla Kurzawa - 3rd place in the high jump and triple jump
- Anna Engelman - 2nd place in the triple jump, 3rd place in the long jump, and 3rd place in the pole vault
- Boys 4x800 meter team of Carter Kashak, Dillon Brunner, Humberto Ruiz, and Caleb Guarino - 1st Place
- Girls 4x100 meter team of Jameson Tisdale, Avery Bayer, Noor El Nokali and Sadie Tomczyk - 1st Place
- Girls 4x400 meter team of Melice Rubino, Sydney Tomczyk, Sadie Tomczyk, and Catalina Ramirez - 3rd Place
- Girls 4x800 meter team of Hannah Bemm, Mackenzie Mack, Catalina Ramirez, and Ella Unice - 4th Place
- Meredith Rhodes - 3rd Place in both the mile and 2 mile races
- Bryce Jones - 4th Place in the 100 meter dash, breaking the Upper St. Clair record with a time of 11.07 seconds
- Boys 4x100 meter team of Kias Dreher, Seth Williams, Max Nofi, and Bryce Jones - 4th Place
- Seth Williams - 4th Place in the long jump
- Tyler McClintock-Comeaux - 5th Place in the pole vault
- Carter Kashak - 6th Place in the 800 meter run
- Sydney Tomczyk - 7th Place in the intermediate hurdles
