Congratulations to Upper St. Clair Sophomore Lily Angus for advancing to the WPIAL Individual Tennis Championships! Angus recently took home a third place finish in the section qualifiers held at Bethel Park High School. Angus won her first round match by a score of 11-9, followed by a 10-7 win in the quarterfinals. After a set back in the semi-finals, Angus rebounded with a 7-5, 6-3 win over Mt. Lebanon’s Katya Rowley to qualify her for the WPIAL Championships. Angus will look to continue her strong play on Wednesday when the WPIAL Championships kick off at North Allegheny High School.
