The Upper St. Clair Boys Soccer team hosted Central Catholic on Monday night in the first round of the WPIAL Playoffs. In a back and forth defensive battle the two teams played two regulation halves and two overtime periods without a goal, sending the game to penalty kicks. The Panthers then scored on their first four kicks and Tyler Lebau made two saves to give the Panthers the 1-0 victory and advance them in the WPIAL Playoffs. The team will now square off against #1 seeded Norwin in the WPIAL Quarterfinals on Thursday with the time and place still to be determined.
