All athletes MUST register through “Healthy Roster” before showing up for Try-out rounds.

Golf Registration Fee:

• Athletic fee: $75 per athlete per sport per season
  • This fee MUST be paid prior to the first contest of the season
  • Payment of the 2026-27 fee begins July 1, 2026. The High School Online Payment Registration Page is used to submit the fee
• To pay:
  • Go to: https://uscsdathletics.com
  • Open the Menu (three lines in the upper-left corner)
  • Select Registration
  • Choose HS Online Payment Registration
  • Complete the registration/payment form for the 2026-27 athletic fee

Tee Time: 4:00 PM
Holes: 18 Holes
Meet at the Putting Green

Tuesday, August 11th

Quicksilver Golf Club
Tee Time: 1:00 PM
Holes: 9 Holes
Bus Time: Leaves at 11:00 AM from the Athletic Circle

Wednesday, August 12th

Nemacolin CC
Tee Time: 11:00 AM
Holes: 10 Holes
Bus Time: Leaves at 9:30 AM from the Athletic Circle

Try-out Rules:

• No early tryouts will be permitted per WPIAL rule.
• If a tryout day is canceled due to poor weather we will attempt to complete
  tryouts on Thursday.
• You can be dismissed from tryouts for the following reasons:
  • Knowingly breaking USGA Rules of Golf
  • Signing for an incorrect score on your scorecard
  • Not wearing appropriate golf attire
• USGA Rules of Golf will govern all play only modified by local rules which will be
  stated by the Coaches prior to play beginning.
• Tryouts will be a 45 Hole aggregate stroke play competition with the lowest 8scores qualifying for the Varsity Team.
  • Depending on the number of participants the remaining scores will be on the JV team, if there are more than 18 participants there will be a cut to 10 players on the JV team.

Additional Information:

• If a player makes the Junior Varsity team the following will be provided: 
  • Two polos
  • Long Sleeve
  • Hat
  • Golf Balls (for matches)
  • Golf Bag
• Players making the Varsity team will receive the above plus an additional polo.
• Players are expected to wear black bottoms for matches and it will be the responsibility of the player.
